Ellen Waldorf has worked as a divorce mediator since 2001. To assist clients with the wide variety of issues contained in the settlement of a divorce or another family issue from parenting to finance to real estate to taxes to insurance, Ellen draws on her earlier experiences in different fields and environments. Prior to mediating, Ellen worked for a private investor, practiced corporate law, clerked for a federal appellate court judge, taught English in China, and interned for “Late Night with David Letterman.” Ellen has a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
In recognition of her mediation work, Ellen has been invited repeatedly to help train new mediators through Divorce Mediation Training Associates and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education. Ellen also has spoken on several occasions to her peers at the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation and the Academy of Professional Family Mediators.
